Advice for Sensitive Areas and Directions
from February 4th, 2018 to February 4th, 2019
The present period (2004-2024) is called period 8. Taking into account the Qi distribution of this period in various houses (which requires a personalized study), it is not possible to give general advice on all present energies. Because if we tell you to put, for this year, this or that element in an area, where it is not advisable for the energy of the period (2004-2024), it could worsen things instead of making them better. Reliable Feng Shui is always adapted to specific cases.

For this solar Year of the Earth Dog, here are the general recommendations of Classical Feng Shui.
Outside the house:

North: the 3 Killings dwell there in 2018. Evitons de déranger ce grand secteur (322.5° to 37.5°, in orange). Avoid disturbing this big area: no noise, and above all no heavy renovation or building work. South: if the main door and house facing are in the great South area (142.5° to 217.5°, in orange), opposite the 3 Killings, it is advised not to renovate in the WHOLE house. North-West: a part of this sector (292.5° to 307.5°, in orange) is visited by the Grand Duke (the Year Divinity). Hence, in 2018, we want to leave this area of the house alone: we avoid it, we do not renovate. If the main door faces this direction, we also avoid moving into this house. South-East: a part of the sector (112.5° to 127.5°, in orange) faces the Grand Duke (the Year Divinity). We avoid facing this direction. For instance, do not sit opposite or don't be lying with the head in this direction. If the main door faces this direction, also avoid moving into this house. |
